When I look at this picture I see a young woman who is growing. Someone who is trying to find the right path. Trying to get away from the past. Who has decided that they are ready to let things go. Unsure of what lies in the future for her, scared for her life to find out. -

It’s funny how we decide to put our lives on hold. Waiting for something to change, hoping for that one important thing that we lost to come back to us. For everything to go back to the way it was. We torture ourselves wanting what we can’t have, when in reality there is something better right in front of us, but we’re too scared to do anything about it. Scared to make the same mistakes, afraid of history repeating itself, you tell yourself that you’re just friends, when you know it’s more, or hope that it is. You want more; you want that feeling to come back. You have felt so empty for so long that you feel it is time to move on because everyone is telling you to. So you take their advice and you go for it, that’s when things start to go wrong because that’s when you realize that you have fallen for someone and you’re too scared to admit it.
